Waiting until you're 33 is a bit late to find a suitable partner. You would have many more candidates to choose from if you started looking while you are younger.

Sounds like you're the kind of guy that plans far in advance. If so, you know that you need to lay the groundwork for the future, today. Unless you're in a place that does arranged marriages, it would be normal to be dating now, or at least trying.

My story isn't that different from your timeline. I married at 31. But she was someone I met at 26, and dated since 27, my first solid girlfriend. Had I waited until age 33, someone else would likely have snapped her up.

nah, that's fine, everybody is getting married older now. my parents married at 22 and 25 or something and now I'm older than my mom was and I'm not married and I'm fine with that
