While designing PCR primers, name the three types of interactions that we must test using a bioinformatics software to successfully achieve primer and DNA chain interaction

    1. Annealing/melting temperature (the primers must anneal at approximately the same temperature)

    2. Amplification of non-target sites (i.e. are the primers specific?).

    3. Complementarity of the primers to one another (or themselves) - i.e. formation of primer dimers.
