Romans 10:9-13
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Ephesians 28-9

You CAN BELIEVE IN VAIN! You're saved by GRACE through Faith! God grants us salvation!
Chris you're a devil You don't even mention verses about salvation where repentance is mentioned. You're going to burn in Hell for your false doctrine. Also I was saying it's possible to believe in vain because faith alone is not mentioned in scripture nor does it save you.

Of course the Roman church to whom this letter was written had already done what Rom. 10:9-10 explicitly affirms. This fact is established four chapters earlier in Rom. 6:17, where there is another explicit statement of past action: "But God be thanked that though you were slaves to sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. They had "obeyed...that form of doctrine..." Jesus taught that "doctrinal form" during His ministry, "except you believe that I am he you will die in your sins", John 8:24. "I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish", Luke 13:3. "Therefore whoever confesses me before men, him I will confess before My Father who is in heaven", Matt. 10:32. "He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned", Mark 16:16. "Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life", Revelation 2:10.
From all of this we see that Romans 10:9-10 and Ephesians 2:8-9 do not reveal the full compliment of the terms of pardon. It is understood that "grace" is "appropriated" through "obedient faith" which "works by love", Galatians 5:6.

Salvation is by grace, through faith. It is through that faith that we believe, and can confess our Lord openly.

Salvation can only be found within yourself. Nobody else is going to do the work for you.
