Is Goodwill a bad place for a job?

There is a hiring event coming up, and I heard and read a lot of negative comments about it. I'm not sure if I should go.

It's a place to start if you're in need of a job.

I like to browse through any Goodwill stores that I come across.

I have to say that the employees there seem less stressed than other retail workers.

Of course it is just going to be minimum wage.

And keep in mind that you may be assigned to sort out donations. Some people donate dirty or otherwise disgusting items. (I think you have to wear gloves for that job.)

But don't believe every negative review. Employees who are satisfied aren't really motivated to leave reviews.

No harm in checking it out, its probably not much better or worse than other stores.

I think it is great place to shop, I like old things and the people that work there are very nice.

Omg, do you need a job? Beggers can't be choosers. Just go, you act like you are getting the job. Good grief.

What other low lives tell you about the place, did they work at all the Goodwills? Low lives usually treat work like it's highschool and act ghetto and everything bothers them. Why? Poor education!!
