On a scale of 1 to 10, how bad does getting your nose pierced hurt?

    hurt me about a 4, not bad at all.

    I had my septum pierced, and it wasn't terrible.

    The worse part is that it is happening right in front of your eyes. I closed my eyes, and it was fine. It pinched a bit, but once the jewelry was in it was totally fine.

    Sort of depends on your sensitivity to pain. Generally, the pain is very brief, and since the needle is wicked sharp, it only lasts a second. Following that, it's more the annoyance of having the piercing rubbing around.
