What do you have to do to get a visa through marriage?

I would like to get married in a year or so, my fiance is Mexican, i am a u.s citizen, we would like to live together in the u.s.

I have researched online and apparently there's different types of visas. Which one does he have to apply for? how do we process it? what do we have to do? how long will it take? how much will it cost? if someone could please explain it simple it be great.

All the info and forms you need are available on the USCIS website. You'll want to make sure you earn enough money to qualify to sponsor your fiancé's K-1 visa. He'll be processed in Mexico and that'll take about nine months. Once his visa is issued in Mexico he'll travel to the US. You'll have 90 days to get married and then you'll proceed to applying for his conditional green card. After two years of marriage he can remove the marital conditions from his green card. If he wishes to naturalize he could apply for that in three years. If you find any of this confusing hire an immigration attorney to help you.
