The torturing of Jesus on the cross was it just to forgive Adam and Eve. Adam dumped sin in into the genetic gene pool. Think of it this way if you happen to be in charge of a water processing center. And you notice a deadly poisonous chemical in the reservoir you slammed shut the safety gate so that none of that water goes out to the public. Then you put chemicals into the reservoir that destroys the poison. Then you open up the safety gate again and the water can go out to the public.

That's what happened with Jesus Christ he was the chemical that got thrown into the reservoir to neutralize the poison that Adam and Eve through into it. Now life the energy of life can flow to all human beings again.

First off, the story of Adam and Eve and the serpent in the Garden of Eden is an ancient Jewish *myth*. It is *not* genuine *history* any more than is "The Lord of the Rings".

Whatever anonymous ancient Jewish man was dealing with the Questions of: Why is there death? Why are there thistles and such that make it more difficult for us to grow our food? Why does evil exist? Why do women suffer pain in childbirth?... and this was the fable he came up with to provide an *answer* to those questions.

The Tower of Babel story was answering the Question: Why are there so many different languages --- making it so difficult for people to understand people from other lands?

The Biblical explanation is not the *accurate* explanation for any of those questions.

Jesus being tortured on the cross *is* (to my view and that of many others) genuine *history*. It *really* took place (tho there are, contemporarily, atheists who believe Jesus never even *existed* -- that it's a made-up fable).

The reason Yahweh had Jesus tortured on the cross was because he was very *angry* at Jesus and decided to *silence* him by having him *murdered* in that way.

Yahweh was so *angry* because of what Jesus revealed as recorded in John 8:44 -- that the Jewish "God" was really the *devil* -- who could *not* be trusted to tell the truth, who had been a liar and a murderer from the beginning! (i've pointed a *few* of the verses in the Bible that *prove* that in my previous answer to another of your questions.) Of course we don't know how many *more* things Jesus revealed about Yahweh that were *not* included in the Christian scriptures.

Then Yahweh LIED and claimed that Jesus was his "only begotten Son" and the *only* way to salvation, forgiveness for sins, and to Eternal Life.

Yahweh, in reality, is *sadistic*. He *revels* in people's agony... all the terrible things that happen to people on Earth is Yahweh's form of *soul*food. He *feeds* upon misery, lostness, hate, fear -- which he was *clearly* bringing about throughout the Old Testament -- and promises an Eternal Hell in the New Testament -- which could only *continue* to feed his *obscene* appetite.

Yahweh-Jehovah has successfully *deceived* people in making them want to inherit "eternal life" in *his* "Kingdom*. When they seek *that* they don't seek to find the *actual* True God or His Eternal Spouse, Sophia, Mother of the All, the real Holy Spirit -- thru Whom they can ascend to any number of Higher "Heavens" *far* beyond Yahweh's sadistic insanity and ego-maniacal *delusions* of grandeur.

The Bible was written by a collection of crazy people.
