First was a Border Collie/Sheltie cross, 2nd was a Great Dane, 3rd was a Border Collie. No more dogs for a while, because we now live in the city and dogs deserve to be able to run around instead of being cooped up all the time.

I've got two blue Lacy dogs (the boy is actually blue, and the girl is a red Lacy; they can also be tricolor). They're a hunting dog, and the earliest members of the breed were a cross between an English shepherd (although some say it was actually a coyote), a greyhound (which is the breed I think they resemble most), and a wolf. They're also the state dog of Texas, which is amusing, because one of the most common responses I get when telling people what kind of dogs I have is, "What the heck is that??" :)
