I would think so. Having to look after someone' kids can get to be a big hassle if they have to deal with their mother, or you having to deal with their mother and punishment also. How old are your kids?

It was for me at one time as I was dating a man with three little boys whose mother ran away..they were adorable and he was a successful man, a good dad but I just wasn't ready to take on more children. It was me, not them. I was a widow and not ready to settle down again. That does not mean a man can't find love again and a mom for his children, I admire those women who take on a new family.
