I don't celebrate any religion but paid time off is paid time off and I will have a wonderful time with my extended family.

Why shouldn't I celebrate the pagan holiday of the winter solstice with just as much pleasure as the Christian believers who adopted the festival to suit their own traditions. After a lll, the pre-christian festival has a far greater history than anything dreamt up in the last 2000 years.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS

    tis the season for giving.

Pro 10:14 Wise men lay up knowledge:

but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction.

Mat 2:1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

Probably for the same reason you use the word "Wednesday" even though it has pagan origins.

Paganism is no longer part of the holiday. Evil has been overcome with good (Rom 12:21). And God leaves it up to each person to decide if they want to celebrate a holiday to him or not (Rom 14:4-6).

Only a fool would think "Christ's Mass" isn't Christian.

As for atheists, they celebrate the day because it's an opportunity to be with friends and family, and to have fun. Our atheist friends look forward to our Christmas party every year.

While it has pagan roots, and Christian influences (including the name), Christmas had really become a general western culture festival.

JWs are Christians and do not celebrate Christmas because it’s a pagan holiday.

Many do not know how to practice true Christianity

Many holidays and festivals date back to pre-Christian times.

The Romans had more holidays than days of the year.

It's due to an act of our God.
