What's the difference between Conservative and alt right?

A conservative would be someone like Ronald Reagan or Dwight Eisenhower or George HW Bush. Where as the phrase "alt right" was coined to describe the extreme anti-social elements within the Republican party. We're talking about the KKK, Neo-Nazis etc. who always vote Republican and are considered the extreme far right end of the political spectrum. Most of the time the Republicans have been able to ignore them yet tolerate their presence within the party.

Now, however, moderate Republicans are becoming an endangered species and the result of that is the Republican party has had to turn to their far right base to shore up their voter turnout. This is why the party is turning more and more to extremism. They're becoming more and more the only ones left willing to call themselves Republicans anymore.

Conservatives just happen to be on the right side of the normal distribution curve of political ideologies. Alt right people are right wing nut cases.

A person is conservative only relative to the person assessing the situation.

The Alt right is of course the group that considers every one but them selves to be liberal. To me that would also include the willingness to use force to have their way. The willingness to use force seems to be something the alt left and alt right have in common.

"Conservative" is a state of mind; alt-right is an ideology.

There is no alt right. Liberal progressive fascists are the alt left which is all liberals.
