Shortening water temperature sensor does not turn radiator fans ON.?

Relay works. Shortening the relay contacts activates the fan as expected.

Sensor seems to be getting 5v and wires are thin so i dont think they would be 12v.

Car was in accident recently and things were replaced. After that fan did not work.

Also HONK not working as well. All fuses are good. i am puzzled. please help

Does the water temp sensor have 3 wire terminals or just 2?

There has to be 3 wire terminals if the temp switch operates the radiator fans.

do the fans work when the AC is turned on? The fans should run continuously with the AC and blower fan on.

If the temp switch only has 2 wire terminals there has to be another switch for the PCM to turn on the fan relays.

Sounds like the front wire harness has a chassis ground lug missing the star washer and bolt connection.

The 5 volts DC is fine, that is the common ECU control voltage. Chase the ground back on that SW conn.

I'll bet the ground tail for the fan control switch and horn is open, meter check the wires to chassis ground.
