No. Royal sceptics would still dislike them, but monarchists would find them harder to respect. Prince Harry tried Estuary English for a while and it didn't work for him so he reverted to RP.

The Queen's accent has moderated over the years - when young, she had a very stilted 'accent'. I think she sounds fine as she is. Heaven forfend she had a Cockney, Brummie or broad Yorkshire accent. At least she's understood across the nation.

Absolutely not. The REASON the Queen is loved is because she is seen as better than most people. If she sounded like a commoner people would really start asking why she's entitled to estates worth billions of pounds.
