Is it problematic that when General McChrystal criticized Trump in respectful terms, Trump lashed out viciously on Twitter?

He wrote '"General" McChrystal got fired like a dog by Obama. Last assignment a total bust. Known for big, dumb mouth. Hillary lover!'

In contrast, when Obama fired him, Obama praised his "deep intelligence" and "love of the country"

All of the Generals are lashing out at Putin's puppet. McCrystal resigned. Obama never fired anyone --but Mike Flynn.

Trump is having problems finding anyone to work for him. The Generals all said that-- on Putin's orders --Trump is retreating. Putin has already taken full credit for winning against ISIS. Putin and Iran are in full control of Syria and its oil. Isreal is very worried.

They plan to supply oil to Europe and South America putting in a pipeline through Turkey. This is very, very bad for the US. We are now surrounded by Putin's allies. Trump is using Russian made steel to put in the pipelines in the US. Trump said that he plans to rebuild Syria with taxpayer money -- for who -- the Russians?

It is not proper for a subordinate to talk disparagingly about ones commanding officer. At least in public even after leaving the service. It is considered conduct unbecoming of a "Officer and Gentleman".

Both Patton and MacArthur violated that un-written rule. In times earlier both they and those that have done so sense suffered very negative consequences.

One of the rules of military service is you respect the office, not the man!

Clearly the referenced General was not worth of the uniform. I am not saying Trump deserves respect, I am saying his office demands respect.

Lastly if a person can dish it out, they have to be able to take it. If McChrystal is not able to take it then that is his problem and he should not need protection by a bunch of cowards.

Remember when Trump claimed to have the best demeanor?

    He lied again.

Trump is just being Trump. A petulant child who can't handle any kind of criticism. Sad.

Everything about Trump is problematic. I love the recent court decision that said Trump's tweets shouldn't be taken seriously.
