Someone is using SPAMBOTS to try and ruin this site. Pretty much EVERY question posted in the english-speaking pages since december 28th, 2018 is getting several such non-answers

I don’t understand it either Michael, I was going to answer another one about a household wiring problem, but there were 15 of those answers already. In each case, as in your question here, the user name was five random letters, all new users just before the answer appeared, and the answer they posted was exactly eight random letters long.

I personally think it’s some kind of computer hacking attempt because of the digital consistency, but I don’t see what benefit it might have to whoever is bothering. Maybe someone is just pissed ay Y!A and wants to use up all possible user names or something, but they are showing up on everyone’s questions. Might be time to take a hiatus from this site, if it becomes detrimental to Yahoo, it will get fixed. I pasted that guys question below with all the similar answers, seems like a waste of time to me.

    Take care, Rudydoo
