  • My guppies are pregnant and one started having babies. I’ve only counted 4....?

So far, I’ve only seen 6 fri (2 died because they were too weak). Isn’t a guppy supposed to have 20-60 fri? Is there something wrong with her or do I need to give her more time?

  • I am keeping these fish in one tank and want to know if my ratio of male to female is a good ratio for breeding?

I have a 30 gal tank with a heater, bubble wall and plenty of hiding spots. Is there a good chance I’ll get baby fish with these fish all in the same tank?

    3 female guppies/1 male guppy

3 female Mollies /1 male molly

    3 female platties/1 male platty.

Not sure if my ratio is wrong or if I need to do something more to chance allow breeding?

  • Fish breeding for Livebearers. I’ve got 12 fish, 3 platties, guppies and molly females & 1 male of each. Am I almost guaranteed baby fish?

I am trying to breed the fish and want to know if my ratio of male to females (3 to 1) is good for increasing the likelihood of breeding.

  • Does this sound like the flu (Discaimer below)?

I know many of you are not doctors and any advice given is strictly advice, not legal medical advice.

It started with a fever of 102.4 - this was accompanied by a sore throat, cough, body aches, night sweats, and headache. Just this morning I was getting up when all of a sudden I began feeling extremely hot and started sweating moderately. My whole body felt hot. I laid down and within 15-20 minutes my body was cool and felt wet.

(Note my whole family has been sick within the past week). I tried to avoid them but obviously I didn’t do a good job)

24 year old male, healthy lifestyle. I haven’t gotten the flu shot in over 10 years. (I had the flu at the beginning of December).

Did I get The flu again from one of my family members?

  • Did we make a good decision to euthanize our dog?

I feel like we made the right decision, yet then again, I have regret. Here was the situation:

Our English Springer Spaniel was a pretty healthy dog, but she started to decline rapidly around October.

She was well taken care of: always supplied with fresh water, food, and periodic checkups.

Before declining, she weighed around 36 lbs, mid December, she was 28lbs

On December 16, she stopped eating, and we slowly switched her to wet food. She liked it for a while, but on December 23rd, she stopped eating again.

I tried giving her cheese, she took it in her mouth, and spat it out. Later that night, she feel (she was trying to get a drink from the toilet. That was her first drink of water in more than 12 hours). She would get up, sniff in the air, and sit down, center room, and just stare (like she was confused).

Christmas Day, she fell again, and was looking very confused. She hadn't drank any water since the night she fell.

This is now close to 48 hours without good hydration.

My family all knew it was probably time. We were leaving town the night day and because she had a nervous personality already (because even when she was healthy, she would not normally eat when we left town).

We didn't want her to suffer. We would be gone for 5 days. We also didnt want our neighbor who was taking care of her to find her. She was 13 YO, and had arthritis.

She had a strange burst of energy right before we put her down, which made it even sadder.

Was it time? I have regret..

  • Would taking these classes together be a bad idea? University question?

    The classes would be:

    1. Account Frameworks (Harder version of Financial Accounting)

    2. Cost Accounting

    3. Principles of Finance

    4. Global Environment of Business

I m not too worried about Global Environment of Business, however, I do know that the other three classes are all math intensive and require a lot of dedication. Although I know it is possible, I need to here people opinions.

(I work part time and commute to school)

Thank you everyone for your feedback!

  • Best suppliments or minerals to take for optimum health?

I'm pretty fit. Want to do everything I can to sustain my body's health for as long as possible. I'm already on a pretty healthy diet, I very rarely eat fast food and watch my fat intake.

    So hears the question:

I'm not one of those people that wants to load up one 10 different supplements. I'm rather simple. Basically, I'm looking for a minimal mix or vitamins/minerals/antioxidants. Right now I'm taking a multi vitamin and omega 3. I feel like this pretty much covers all that I need? Any advice for more? I don't want to overload my body with any particular vitamin/ mineral. So please do not suggest something that will double a particular vitamin/mineral.

    Thanks!

  • How can I lose my small belly while maintaining muscle mass?

So, I'm pretty defined and fit everywhere, except my belly. I have a little guy. I'm a male, and I want to maintain my muscle mass, whole losing the little pouch, because it looks like a mini mini beer belly. It's my overly big, but it's not flat. Any suggestions to losing the belly while maintaining muscle mass, because I know the concept of consuming less than you eat to lose weight but you have to be careful because that could cause muscle loss. Any suggestions? Thanks.

(21 year old make) I'm pretty fit.

  • What are my options if someone has threatened to key my car?

This person used to work where I am currently employed but was fired. He was overheard by 4 people that he wanted to key my car and one of my friends cars. He was seen standing near my car the other day in the parking lot while I was at work and was about to key it but someone stopped him, and he has not done anything yet. Do I have any options to take to prevent something from happening or can I not do anything until something happens?

  • What is more important for building muscle?

Muscle confusion or mass overload? I know you need both but what is truly more important? It seems like the heavier you lift, even without muscle confusion,

Your muscles will be forced to adapt to that new weight, thus building muscle???

  • 2013 Mustang possible mod? Should I?

I have a 2013 Black mustang base with security and tech package. Should I add ambient lighting (just one color - ice blue) to match my guage and dash lights or is it not worth it. The lights will be underneath the footwells, front seats, and later the cup holder when I get an el- wire. Ive been trying to keep the car as stock as possible but I think this look could be pretty cool without being ghetto because it's one color and will match the dash and guage lights. Let me know what y'all think.

  • Am saving enough? Im almost 21?

Okay, so this is a personal question so instead of asking someone i see on a daily basis, I need some advice. I'm almost 21 and do not know if my saving is where it should be at, because I know not to ask. Anyways, I have tried saving and have a Roth IRA, mutual fund, emergency fund, savings, and several other savings. I have just over $33,000 of my money saved up. I'm going to school and working a full time job. I'm not making very much right now, obviously, that's why I'm going to school, to better my future. I really have no idea what the average person has saved up because I don't ask, and personally, am not trying to compare, I just want to make sure that relative to my age, am i at a good financial point? Please don't respond if you have nothing kind or it will be a negative/condescending resonse. Thanks! Have a great day!

  • I own a 2013 mustang, what should I do first?

A wheel and tire set up for $1,600: 19 inch machined aluminum wheels and perelli summer only tires with TPMS kit.

    Or

A sound system set up. Touch screen navigation with Bluetooth and GPS, a 13" sub custom fit, a nice 600 watt rms mono amp, and wiring kit; all of this for around $2,500.

I know appearance is everything, but will wont more enjoyment come from something I can listen to in your car. I know only I can answer this question, but what is your opinions? Thanks everyone..

  • Best axleback exhaust for a 2013 Mustang V6 (read below)?

I want an exhaust not that closely resembles that of a stock v8.

    ***I KNOW IT'S NOT A V8 AND NOTHING CAN MAKE IT SOUND LIKE A V8, I UNDERSTAND THAT. ***

    The qualities I want are:

    * deeper tone

    * little to no RASPINESS

    * no gargley backfire when taking your foot off the gas

    * more throaty, when accelerating

    - i don't want it abnoxiously loud, like open headers and straight pipes would sound- but like I said, like a stock V8 - and again- I understand its a v6, I don't need a lecture like "could of had a v8", or "a v6 will never sound like a v8" - that wasn't my question and I'm not trying to soud 100% like a v8 (cause that won't happen) , I want SOME of the same qualities of a v8 exhaust note.

    What setup should I have

    I was thinking either

FFRP SPORT EXHAUST w/ x pipe, or

    Bassani Atak w/ x pipe

  • What car emblem is this?

I'll describe it as best as possible. Saw it okay.

It looks like a tilted Lexus emblem, but it wasn't. The emblem was black. Kind of looked like a 7/L tilted. It was an SUV. The lady driving the car appeared to be a "soccer mom" - excuse my politically incorrect judgement, so I don't think she would change the emblem to an aftermarket emblem. And it was new.
