The question is mute since we don't know you.

You might as well ask ... JWs can I touch my toes?

The answer lies in your ability to delude yourself. Do you have the ability to ignore the truth and the facts that pertain to the truth or not? The degree to which you can delude yourself will dictate the answer to this question.

    What is amusing though is...

    1) JWs claim to have no leaders, only Christ Himself and yet here you are asking if you can do something that the bible commands you to do. Does that not speak to the lie that JWs have leaders who dictate what they can and cannot do?

    2) It's ironic that not a single JW has sought to make it clear you don't have to ask permission. They might have said you can but that's not the same. Why is that?

You need to wake up, smell the coffee and find truth... it will set you free of the yoke of JWism!

Of course you can serving Jehovah does not depend on your marital status. if you're not engaged in fornication or adultery or a homosexual relationship there's no reason that you cannot go out and preach the good news of God's Kingdom on a full-time basis.

Have you talked to the elders about your situation? Only they should be told, as they can give you scriptures and would do research for the truthful answer to your question. You are not only allowing your congregation to come to know your situation, but you are allowing the whole world which I don't think should be happening.

Knock, knock. May I read you some scripture?
