Do the Dems really expect people who can think to believe their "Walls don't work" lie?

Well, since the people that claim they can think keep claiming that democrats said "walls don;t work", we have pretty much given up any hope you are willing to deal with reality.

Sure, walls work for their intended purpose. The roof of my house remains off the ground because the walls are doing a great job. A wall along the border would not solve your perceived problem.

First off, illegal border crossings are at a 50 year low. Over 60% of the illegals in the US arrived in the US with a valid visa and were passed through the border inspection station. No wall will fix that issue since we opened the gate to let them in.

Also, net migration across the border has been negative for the last few years. That means more people in the US illegally are leaving on their own than are arriving across the border.

"But what about drugs?" Over 95% of the drugs brought in from Mexico come in via a port of call. That means they are mixed in with a shipment of goods from Mexico or South America in a truck, cargo ship or cargo airplane. The little that comes across the physical border goes through tunnels under the existing wall or fencing sections. There are just too many logistical issues running a bunch of people with backpacks loaded with drugs across the border in the middle of the desert.

Not comparable. Prison walls work because you can regulate the flow of commodities in and out of the prison. You can't do that with an entire country, because it can produce commodities itself. If you build a wall, it can build the tools to get over, under, or around that wall. You can't do that in a prison because you don't have access to industry and free trade.

The truth is, they just don't like to think and will eat up every incredible leftist lie that the sick0 leftists can dream up - like "transsexualism is normal", "Hillary isn't a crook", "Obama isn't GAY" or "walls don't work".

Of course wall work. They don't even have to be made of masonry. Look at all the "walls" that are just fences. You just need the personnel to patrol them to make them effective, and make the fences high enough, and with enough barbed wire to discourage the average trespasser. But also consider the statistics of how drugs are smuggled into the country - through ports of entry - and how easy it is to either fly over a fence/wall in an aircraft or dig under it with a tunnel. The "wall" along the existing "wall" at the U.S./Mexico border is as effective as border fences anywhere else in the world. We just need more border patrol personnel to patrol it, not more solid materials.

Some Dems expect others to believe their repeated lies, some people fall for that tactic. And certainly the Dems hope that happens.

It's not a lie. A wall is a waste of money.

Most illegal immigrants came here legally.

Walls DO work, but won't do much to keep OUT illegal immigrants from the US, because most of them come over LEGALLY, and just overstay their visas!
