that is saint bernard puppy they can grown about 26-36 inches and they re not really weight 100lbs . as a puppy yeah but when it get older adults age should be weight about 120- 200 lbs and live for 10-12 years . and here are the information about those breed . in case you dont know .

formerly known as the alpine mastiff, the saint bernard is an old breed that is descended from the ancient molossus ,which was introduced to the alps by the romans around 2000 years ago. it was subsequently developed by monks at a travelers refuge ,the hospice of st. bernard from which its name is derived first used as a guard dog and mountain guide .it began to be employed as a mountain rescue dog as a long ago as the 17th century ,and is perhaps best known for that role. however with the construction of the simplon tunnel in 1950s which connects Switzerland and ltaly the mountains became more easily passable and the saint bernard became more popular as a companion although it is still used for rescue and draft work. despite its imposing size, this is an extremely passive and affectionate breed.which is usually east to train.

saint bernard is a very large ,muscular dog with a powerful head and jaws. the ears are quite large and pendant. and the tail long and high set. there are two types of coat. rough and smooth, but both are dense and white with tan ,red, magogany.and black markings in various combinations.

I would say defiantly a LARGE dog. It may be mixed with another large dog, so figure 100+ lbs!

Based on the markings, it's possible, but that is not a guarantee. Who gave you the pup? That person can tell you what the parents were. The pup appears that she will grow to be a large dog, but it totally depends on just what is in that mix, and what genes she inherited from both parents, and the grandparents on both sides. Note that very large dogs are expensive to keep - they need a large amount of food (quality food not Ol' Roy or Dog Chow), they are expensive to vet as medications like flea treatment, heartworm preventative, wormer, etc are based on weight. Spay surgery is also based on weight and is going to be more expensive. Big dogs need a big yard. See what you can find out about her background from the person who gave her to you. Cute pup - but those markings can come from many breeds and/or no breeds. I've seen small terriers marked like her, LOL.

How big the pup will be depends on what breed the pup is crossed with and what percentage of genes she has inherited from each parent.

I have no idea by just looking at the photo, what this pup is a mix of. She looks a very nice pup. How old is she?

Looking at the timber (legs) bone, it's highly likely she will be a big dog although having said that my main breed has big bone from the start, compared to their eventual size. There seems to be Saint in there but mixed with what I have no idea.

I would agree that she should be on a lower protein puppy food or she may well grow too big, too fast causing all kinds of structural problems.

Being 'given' a puppy the size of a St.Bernard is NO GIFT. They are expensive dogs all round and you will be spending out THOUSANDS on foods and veterinary. Please make sure you have enough to fund this and the time and space you'll need to give this pup all he needs.

Tbh.. her paws don't look big enough that she will be a 'giant dog' as a St. Bernard is but she will be very big.
