How to get baptized as an adult quickly?

I was never baptized as an infant, I’m 20 years old. I’ve been through RCIA classes but they never worked out. I already understand the commitments that comes with being baptized, so I’m just looking to get baptized as soon as possible, I’m talking like In one day. I’m not trying to rush it, I have my personal reasons, but how can I proceed on doing this? Which church would do this for me? Im hoping on being baptized catholic, but any church that will baptized me ASAP would be just fine. Thank you

If you are seeking salvation and eternal life - get baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It will probably take more than a day, but it is not a long process for those who are willing to accept the truth and are willing to be baptized and enter into a covenant relationship to serve God.

Infant baptism is fake, is unbiblical, it does nothing.

    .

For adults, water baptism cannot get you into heaven, water baptism is not required to get into heaven, and water baptism cannot be added to what gets you into heaven (1 Corinthians 1:17). No works can be added to what gets you into heaven (Romans 4:5).

    .

What gets you into heaven, is believing in Jesus. That easy.

And then you can get water baptized as a testimony that you died to unbeilef, and are raised up with Jesus forever.

As for catholicism, Jesus is not in catholicism or orthodox. Reading the Bible proves to us that catholicism and orthodox are lies.. Catholicism and orthodox teach works for salvation, which leads to eternal torment in the lake of fire (Galatians 1:6-9). Catholicism and orthodox didn't even exist for over 300 years after the Bible was complete and compiled. So avoid catholicism and orthodox, get away from them both.

    ..

The truth is that Jesus loves you and wants to bless your life freely :) Most of all, Jesus wants you with Him forever, and not in hell. The truth is that every belief except one will lead to eternal torment in the lake of fire for every person. Because nothing pays for our sins except the death and blood of Jesus, the sacrifice of Jesus that is already accomplished by Him . Jesus loves you! The truth is that Jesus is God, and Jesus died on the cross to pay for all of our sins in full, and then Jesus resurrected from the dead. Nothing else pays for our sins, not works, not deeds, not religions. So the only way to heaven and to avoid hell, is by believing in Jesus for eternal life (John 6:47), without adding any of your own works (Romans 4:5). Believe in Jesus to take you to heaven, and you will be in heaven, no matter what, guaranteed. That easy, thanks to Jesus! Tell Jesus that you thank Him that you will be with Him in heaven when you die, because you believe in Jesus! It is too late to be saved, after death.

To become a friend of God, you must obtain a good knowledge of Bible truth.

put faith in the things you have learned

    repent of your sins,

and turn around in your course of life,

Then your love for God should move you to dedicate yourself to him. This means that in personal prayer you tell him that you are giving yourself to him to do his will.

After you have made your dedication to God, you should be baptized. (Matthew 28:19,20)

The Devil will try to stop you from serving Jehovah. (1 Peter 5:8)

Stick close to the congregation. (Hebrew 13:17)

Go to a Bible believing church, not the Papist church, where they baptize by immersion and only baptize believers.

Baptism is an outward act of showing your commitment to God through faith in Jesus Christ.

When I was baptized as an adult, a church I was attending had a list of things I had to agree to in order to be baptized. I realized that this was wrong and later left the church.

I started going to a non-denominational Bible-based Christian church where getting baptized was meeting with the pastor to see if I understood what baptism was about, my relationship with Jesus, and when I would be baptized.

I got baptized after a Bible study with my family and two other women watching---that was it.

It seems to me you are probably ready for baptism, but I'm worried that you want to be baptized "catholic". That doesn't seem to show that you want to be baptized to show your commitment to God through faith Jesus and believing that He is your Savior.

Find a non-denominational Bible-based church or a Baptist church in you area. Discuss with an elder or pastor about your desire to become baptized.

Any questions or comments, leave in the comments section.

If you want to be baptized in the Universal Life Church I can do it for you. I'm an ordained minister in that church, but for the sake of disclosure, I should mention that I'm an atheist. ;^]

  • If you have had RCIA you know that there is no reason to rush since if you get killed or die for some moral stand you are BAPTIZED ipso facto.

Baptism by Fire and Desire, you know.
