Follow the money: I'm sure it's because the Silicon Valley donors to democrats set them straight. They want to create a money pit called an "electronic barrier" which will keep nobody out. But it will add billions to the pockets of liberal political donors. The electronic barrier will require endless; IT specialists, Upgrades, equipment replacements, and specialized maintenance. It is a boondoggle that will end up costing far more than a physical barrier. As soon as the illegals touch American soil, they will have to be processed. They will be allowed to stay till the democrats gain power, naturalize them, and allow them to vote.
