Do you come to appreciate Atheism when you examine the lives of great atheist leaders like Kim Il-Sung and Pol Pot and Stalin?

Atheism is just wonderful isn't it?

No I came to appreciate it when I saw people like Ken Ham talking about animals being shot across half the world by volcano. Or when he spent a hundred million dollars on an Arc and a bunch of stuffed dinosaurs. Then tried to get out of paying taxes and cheat the state by selling the land to himself for ten dollars.

Religion has its share of tyrants and monsters, it's also full of liars and con men. With plenty of sheep and suckers to support it.

The fact that some people did great things, but were totally ignorant of other essential truths is not something to rejoice over.

There are no atheist leaders and never were. No one speaks for, leads or represents atheists. There were individuals, good and bad, who also happened to be atheists. Some of them correctly perceived religion to be an obstacle to their ambitions.

But you already knew that, didn't you?

They got nothing on the various popes; who I'm convinced don't actually believe in a god. If they did, they'd be too frightened to come outside for fear of lightning strikes

Except Kim Il-Sung and Pol Pot and Stalin were never "Atheist leaders".

They may have been rulers of their respective countries and they may have been Atheists, but they did not lead in the name of Atheism.

That's like saying Trump is a "White Leader".
