Why do muslims, christians and jews fiercely oppose the doctrine of reincarnation?
There are so many verses in the Koran, Torah and Gospels that can only be understood and explained through reincarnation, including parables of Jesus Christ. Reincarnation is the only answer to the problem of injustice and why innocent people suffer. Reincarnation is the only explanation for the long ages reported for prophets in ancient times. These duration of life simply explain the total duration through sevel reincarnations of these prophets. Not the length of one particular life. There are so many things that fall in place once you open your mind to reincarnation.
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 years agoWhy do people take the NDE thing a little too seriously?
I'm a believer so I have no problem with believing in an afterlife. But I don't believe when personal make claims about NDE's and things like that because I simply don't trust them. They could easily lie and tell stories.
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 years agoDon't Atheists understand that true believers really feel sorry for them?
Once you have the knowledge you know what is what. And you know that the brains of atheists are enslaved by the devil. That their hearts are chained. And it's really sad.
19 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 years agoSo can we conclude that Atheists are here only to mess with theists?
Atheism is just lack of belief in any gods: so Atheists don't believe in neither religion nor spirituality nor do they care about them. Why else would they come to Religion and Spirituality section? Mess with theists of course.
19 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 years agoIf the Bible is God's literal word wouldn't you think that he would use the first person when speaking about himself rather than the third?
The Bible is mostly inspired by God no question about that. It contains some odd parts written by non prophets like Paul but that's another story. Do you see God speaking in the first person in any part of the Gospels or Old Testament?
20 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 years agoWhy don't fellow theists stop making baseless claims like that holy books are the words of God and that God is omniscient and so on?
These claims do religion more harm than good. The Bible doesn't make the claim that God is omniscient. That God knows the future. These are claims! Also to say that Holy books are the word of God is an insult directed to God. These books are inspired by the divine, are books about God and by God but they aren't his own words. If God wanted to write something down he'd do it himself not through hundreds of people over a long period of time.
9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 years agoAtheists can you draw a painting using only one color so why do you demand God to create a universe where pleasure exists without suffering?
The only way for something to exist independently of everything else is to be different. And for something to be appreciated it needs to have an opposite that exists.
17 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 years agoDo you come to appreciate Atheism when you examine the lives of great atheist leaders like Kim Il-Sung and Pol Pot and Stalin?
Atheism is just wonderful isn't it?
11 AnswersPolls & Surveys2 years agoSpiritually speaking have you ever done a horrible thing that you wish it never happened?
Do you have worries about God forgiving you?
Do you have a plan to undo the harm done by that?
Do you still feel the shame?
1 AnswerReligion & Spirituality2 years agoAtheists if God isn't real then who created this universe you see around you?
Do you think nothingness gives off free cookies?
18 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 years agoIs it a coincidence that everytime we manage to corner Atheists in an argument they tend to cower and back off?
They just deny their position and take back what they previously said. I thought Atheists are more courageous than that.
6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 years agoWhy don't Atheists ever understand the concept of faith?
Faith is when you believe without proof. Like you have faith that if you work hard you'll get rewards. It cannot be proven, something could happen and your hard work will go up in smoke but you still work hard because of faith. You have faith that tomorrow the sun will rise and there will be a new day that's why you go to bed early and prepare for the next day. Even though you are not sure tomorrow you'll wake up, you might die in your sleep. That's faith it doesn't require any evidence or proof. Same is faith in God, it doesn't require proofs, you either take the leap of faith or you don't.
27 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 years agoAtheists who keep asking for a physically tangible God what do you think Christ is?
A true God, our God in the flesh of Christ. He came and you missed it and maybe you didn't and he will come again and you probably won't believe in him. So why do you claim that our God is invisible?
15 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 years agoSince Jewish religious leaders wanted to kill Christ the first time will they want to kill him when he returns?
Jesus was indeed caught because of these Jewish leaders and he was tortured. And was resurructed.
It's safe to assume that when he returns they will face him with the same opposition and animosity.
11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 years agoAtheists if Evolution is true then why do your ideas never evolve?
Atheists have to be as rigid as religious people. Which makes me think that Atheism is definitely a religion. The benefit of being a true believer and free thinker like me is that I'm always willing to evolve in my spiritual thinking. I'm open to change from inside and outside. I don't just accept things the way the are.
13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 years agoDo Atheists consider the worship of the sun a better alternative to the worship of God because the sun is tangible?
You see physical tangibility doesn't equal more credibility. The sun is physically tangible for humans but it couldn't be the God we're looking for.
