Why don't fellow theists understand that the only thing that can take them to heaven or hell is the fruits of their actions?

Update:

There is no magical way to heaven or hell except those. No set of prayers to read, not set of words to say no set of clothes to wear..

    That is not the truth.

    It is not about what we can or can not do.

    It is about Jesus Christ... who He is and what He has already done.

    Ephesians 2:8,9

    "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;

    not as a result of works, so that no one may boast."

    If we had to work for it, it would be a reward... not a gift.

    The "fruits" are the results of our love and caring... for the living God and other people.

    Yes but is it the mercy of God that allows successful afterlife. Not just deeds and efforts alone. And if I want to avoid wrath of God or major sins, praying is necessity. Praying is part of good deeds and yes, certain clothing is part of good deeds and obeying God.

    There are words I say, words I need and seek my God with. Action is part of my faith than simply believing. The devil believes and acknowledges his Master as well but doesn't fulfill action. Doesn't pray, doesn't prostrate and doesn't do good in action.

    So that they can sin, left and right, and still justify themselves that once saved always saved. They are only lying to themselves, not to God.

    That is not true. Christ died on the cross for our sins.
