So let me get this straight. The elector vote has decided all elections since the Constitution. But because Trump won we need to change it?

BUT YOU WILL NEED TO AMEND THE CONSTITUTION AND IN TODAY'S ENVIRONMENT THAT WOULD BE ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE

That is correct
If Hillary or another lesbian had won there would be no need to change it

Changing the Constitution over one person is probably dead on arrival. But more to the point is the ongoing demographic shift that's going to make some people rue the day they suggested this. The Millennials are aging and having kids. It's all but impossible to raise kids in a decent way in the pricey blue costal states. So as liberal voters move out into the hinterlands where they can actually afford homes they're going to be happy that there's some mechanism to make sure their votes count.

Actually, two election s(1800 and 1824) were decided by the House of Representatives (which is what happens if no candidate receives a majority of electoral votes).

We all know hypocrisy of people who always undermine the people mandate.Whether you like it or not but people of America choose Donald Trump for 4 years.Whether he had elected by electoral collage or by other means but not by popular votes. Its constitution that gave him right for taking decision in Favour of American peoples.

From 1828-1996, the electoral college decided all but 2 or 3 elections for the candidate who got the most votes. What is different now is that 2 of the last 3 elections that the electoral college decided in favor of Republicans were elections in which Democrats got more votes.

Perhaps Trump's entire election campaign being nothing but lies has something to do with it.

It's been changing for along time. States can vote the majority determines the electoral votes for their state. 11 have already done this, I think it needs 32 or 36 to become real change. Playing the victim is not a winning life strategy.

Without the electoral college, the last two republican presidents would never have been elected. Republicans couldn't win a popular vote to save their filthy souls.

This happens almost every time any more.. not just for Trump. Look back at the history of elections and you will see this is not close to the first time the losing side had called for the elimination of the electoral collage.
