Are the saints the 144 thousand that will be kings and priests in the kingdom?

Revelation 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. Revelation 14:3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

They are the same! The 144 thousand are anointed by God not man.

So are the saints anointed by God and not man.

In Revelation chapter 7 a great crowd of people that no man can number stand before God's throne in Heaven, worshipping, while the 144,000 are on the Earth. We're told the great crowd have come out of the great tribulation on the Earth. They proclaim that their salvation belongs to Him who sits on the throne, and the Lamb at the center of that throne. By chapter 14 the 144,000 have made it to Heaven also, joining the vast crowd of humans who are also in Heaven.

Yet they are clearly distinct from the great crowd, having a particular role to play in Heaven.

In the New Testament, all Christians are called 'saints'. All Christians are anointed with God's Holy Spirit and have His witness that they will be with Christ in heavenly glory. But the 144,000 have a special part to play in the heavenly Kingdom. They are equally 'saints' as are the great crowd.

FYI... in apocalyptic literature “1,000” was an exageration for an untold number, like we would say a “gazillion”.

The 144,000 is the entire human race.

Jehovah has selected some faithful men and women from the earth to go to heaven.

They will rule with Jesus as kings, judges, and priests over mankind.

Jesus called these corulers in his Kingdom a "little flock". They number 144,000. - Luke 12:32; Rev. 14:1-3.

The saints are those who are true Christians. The 144,000 are descendants of Hebrews. So not just Jews, but those many tribes that settled and were ruled over by a different set of kings. That's what the Books of 1&2 Kings and 1&2 Chronicles are about. The Books of Kings is from the northern perspective. The Books of Chronicles from the southern perspective. The 144,000 will be certain male kids from those tribes after they settle back in Israel. So, not just Jews, but the others who lost their identity as was promised in Hosea.

edit: From what I understand, the 144,000 are supposed to go throughout the world and spread the Gospel without corruption. The true form of the Gospel that many churches have abandoned and altered to fit their theological sensibilities. They do that for the first half of the Great Tribulation. Then they are raptured in the middle. They are different from the rest of us, and so are grouped together, somewhat apart from the rest of us; we who are being saved.

The 144,000 are Jewish evangelists, that is obvious from Revelation chapter 7. It even names the Israeli tribes in a list. So you are wrong. They are Jewish evangelists during the seven-year tribulation after the rapture.

    .

The way to eternal life in the kingdom is by believing in Jesus (John 6:47). And that door is open to everybody.

The truth is that every belief except one will lead to eternal torment in the lake of fire for every person. Because nothing pays for our sins except the death and blood of Jesus, the sacrifice of Jesus that is already accomplished by Him . Jesus loves you! The truth is that Jesus is God, and Jesus died on the cross to pay for all of our sins in full, and then Jesus resurrected from the dead. Nothing else pays for our sins, not works, not deeds, not religions. So the only way to heaven and to avoid hell, is by believing in Jesus for eternal life (John 6:47), without adding any of your own works (Romans 4:5). Believe in Jesus to take you to heaven, and you will be in heaven, no matter what, guaranteed. That easy, thanks to Jesus! Tell Jesus that you thank Him that you will be with Him in heaven when you die, because you believe in Jesus! It is too late to be saved, after death..

The 144,000 are the only ones not going to Hell. There are over 7.2 billion people. Which means that the odds are 50,000 to one that God will send you to burn in Hell for all eternity. Thank you Jesus!
