Does anyone really believe Nancy Pelosi will negotiate with President Trump on border security?
Nancy Pelosi has said all along that Government should be reopened before negotiating border security with President Trump. Democrats have been making and breaking this same promise to every Republican President since and including President Reagan.
The agreement to end the shutdown has occurred, and The Government has reopened. Pelosi has already said "No" again to a wall. So, where is Pelosi's willingness to work for The American People, instead of her own self-interest?

No. Not a chance in hell. And she'll end up costing taxpayers even more money when the government shuts down again. All over $5 billion, which is the equivalent of $57 in a normal household income.

The question is, when will Trump negotiate with Pelosi? The answer is, he won't. It's either give him he wall, or watch the government be shut down for literally the rest of his presidency.

Why not just go back to the immigration laws in force whem Grampa Trump immigrated? It's clear we can't do without immigrant workers.

She already did once. The deal was Trump got $20 billion for the vanity wall and he would renew the DACA agreement. Unfortunately the Freedom Caucus shamed Trump into pulling out because they are so opposed to DACA. Thus his wall funding was gone. Will Pelosi be willing to give him a similar offer again? I would be surprised if she did.

The problem with having Nancy Pelosi as our Representative and living in California, that I see, is that the average voting Californian believes that there are not enough illegal aliens living there in California as of now. They are doing their best to attract more and more illegal aliens, in order to correct this deficiency. (I think they are crazy for thinking this myself, but what do I know.) And they certainly don't want any walls or barriers built on their southern border. That is for sure. Walls are immoral, aren't they? Maybe someday they will accumulate enough illegal aliens to satisfy everyone. I hope so.

She already did. There was an agreement in which Trump would have gotten $20B+ for the wall in exchange for DACA. He agreed to it.
Then right-wing media accused him of caving, his ego couldn't take it, so he pulled the deal and offered less (a 3-year extension on DACA, essentially meaningless)
Lowering your OWN offer after a previous agreement is not negotiating. If Trump wants something, he can offer something.
