The names where transliterated to the English. Take Peter for example,

in the Greek it is Pétros which means rock or stone. Peter is Pétros

    translated into the English.

You would of never hear someone called "Peter" back in Biblical times.

Those were Jewish names before they were Christian names.

  • The proof is that if He had not He would have to have said WHICH Simon, WHiCH peter< WHICH Andrew, Which James etc. See, logical as all get out :)

You yourself supplied the proof that you are wrong :)

Because those are (anglicized) Greek names. For example, Thomas, is Θωμᾶς, Thōmas, in the Greek (see John 20:24).

Surely you don't think those were their Hebrew or Aramaic names. They didn't speak English, you know.

Dialects change the sound of words across the language plane.

I had no idea that you knew how to speak Aramaic and ancient Hebrew.
