what does my crush mean?

okay, so I have a crush on this guy and considering my friends gave us the ship name Mantis that will be his name. so I was hanging out with a family friend when suddenly mantis called me. now he never called me before considering he hardly even answers my texts this was quite surprising. I answer and he asks me what my favorite candy is? I said I didn't know cause I never gave it much thought. he said just say anyone so I said, Idk Hershey? I could tell there was someone else with him Not sure if boy or girl but that voice said " good choice."(I think it was this guy I know but Idk for certain) then we ended the call. I asked him after who was the other person and why he wanted to know. he just said just wanted to know I asked again in school and he said It's nothing... pls help I am very confused
