My teenage self would slap me if he found out I listened to Rod Stewart and smooth Jazz now. Does anybody else like any music they once hated?

i wouldn't say i've ever started listening to anything i ever hated. i have gotten interested in junk i never thought about before, but it's generally stuff i didn't know existed before.

I got serious into blues at about 20-21, which is 1972. Bought my first Coltrane album in about 1974. Still listened to rock and saw Zeppelin about that time too. I still like some rock OK but rarely listen to it. Frankly there are some songs but a steady diet of it pretty much bores me. Give me Chick Corea or Weather Report... And classic jazz is timeless, unlike much classic rock. Go find yerself some Albert King.....
