Because he is the most popular on YouTube and people want it to stay that way. Don't worry. One of these days, Somebody will be much bigger than PewDiePie. And THEN one day, somebody besides Google will own YouTube. Seriously, they are really starting to destroy YouTube. I hope it will be Microsoft. They would know what to do with it wisely

It is because he has the most subscribers on YouTube, and a Indian company named T Series is close to passing him.
