Can I pack my carry on full of just snacks?

I m going from Virginia to Los Angeles, and I usually travel with just a personal. This is time I got a free carry-on roundtrip with my ticket. There s a lot of Mexican snacks they don t have here in Virginia, so am I allowed to fill it with just snacks provided they meet all of TSA regulations?

    Yep, packaged food is allowed on your carry-on

    You have selected a best answer, I will answer anyways.

    As long as the food is solid, you can bring at as carry-on or checked baggage. If it is a liquid or a gel, place it in checked baggage.
