False Doctrines 2 Timothy 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires,2 John 10:11If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:A quick reading of might give the impression that the apostle Paul went from house to house to preach the gospel of the Kingdom to the unconverted. The context, however, beginning with verse 17, reveals the true meaning. The apostle Paul "sent to Ephesus and called for the elders of the church," and said to them "I taught you publicly and from house to house" (Acts 20:17-20). Paul taught the leaders of the church in their own homes. He was not going from house to house attempting to witness to or persuade whomever opened the door. The apostle Paul had his own hired house at Rome where he "received all who came to him, preaching the kingdom of God," which Jesus had commanded His true servant to preach (Acts 28:30-31). The apostle Paul was taught the gospel personally by Jesus Christ Himself (I Corinthians 15:8; Galatians 1:11—2:2). One of Jesus' teachings is that we should not force the gospel upon anyone (Matthew 7:6; 10:11-15). Therefore, it is evident that Paul did not go from house to house trying to convert people. When Paul preached publicly, it was primarily in the synagogues of his day. They will not go uninvited into people's homes to try to persuade and teach them Bible truths. God's truth should never be forced on anyone. As Jesus remarks in Matthew 7:6, the truth is too precious for that. The example of Jesus Christ and His apostles shows we should not to preach from house to house. Neither should we accept into our homes any peddlers of religion who might show up on our doorstepActs 2:46 is another frequently misunderstood scripture: "So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they [the apostles and the new converts] ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart." Notice that these people were all in harmony. They continued "daily with one accord." They were all of the same belief. This verse is simply recording the actions of people who ate meals together as one might have close friends over to his home. It says nothing about preaching to strangers. 2 Timothy 4:3-4 3For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.Romans 16:17Now I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who create divisions and obstacles that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Turn away from them.2 Thessalonians 3:6 Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to keep away from any brother who leads an undisciplined life that is not in keeping with the tradition you received from us.3 John 1:10So if I come, I will call attention to his malicious slander against us. And unsatisfied with that, he refuses to welcome the brothers and forbids those who want to do so, even putting them out of the church.2 John 1:11For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.Romans 16:17,18Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid themThe deceiver and his deceit are described: he brings some error concerning the person or office of the Lord Jesus. Such a one is a deceiver and an antichrist; he deludes souls, and undermines the glory and kingdom of the Lord Christ. Let us not think it strange, that there are deceivers and opposers of the Lord Christ's name and dignity now, for there were such, even in the apostles' times. The more deceivers and deceits abound, the more watchful the disciples must be. Sad it is, that splendid attainments in the school of Christ, should ever be lost. The way to gain the full reward is, to abide true to Christ, and constant in religion to the end. Firm cleaving to Christian truth unites us to Christ, and thereby to the Father also; for they are one. Let us equally disregard such as abide not in the doctrine of Christ, and those who transgress his commands. Any who did not profess and preach the doctrine of Christ, respecting him as the Son of God, and salvation by him from guilt and sin, were not to be noticed and countenanced. Yet in obeying this command, we must show kindness and a good spirit to those who differ from us in lesser matters, but hold firmly the all-important doctrines of Christ's person, atonement, and holy salvation.9Anyone who runs ahead without remaining in the teaching of Christ does not have God. Whoever remains in His teaching has both the Father and the Son. 10If anyone comes to you but does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your home or even greet him. 11Whoever greets such a person shares in his evil deeds

Jesus started the work-Luke 10. Paul explained how they did it.-Acts 20:20

There is no perfection, where imperfect mortals are involved. God requires-repentence( correction) if they err. Uncorrected doctrine is false doctrine.

The apostles went house to house proselytizing. There is nothing there saying this is what Christians always should do, just that they did it. It does say not to listen to false doctrines. I don't know why you conjoined these two things into one question, or why you worded it the way you did, but that is the short answer.

Neither Jesus nor his disciples went to evangelize house to house. So we shouldn't either. A man's home is his castle.

the Bible teaches that Jesus Christ and his apostles went house to house from town to town and from farm to farm preaching the gospel I don't know anything about false doctrine but it's program of Jesus Christ to go from house to house and preach the gospel.

Why is "listener" the only word you didn't capitalize?
