Clicked the icon on my task bar that shows all the networks i can connect to, i noticed one of the networks is called pirate station, what the hell is pirate station and should i be cautious of it?

Some people get creative when naming their networks. Sounds like you have a neighbor with a sense of humor.

It's probably a joke name for someone's WiFi. Some people name their WiFi channel things like FBI Surveillance Van. I wouldn't connect since it's not yours and you don't know them.
