How is NYC able to have so many high rise projects without developing the same issues that Chicago had in Cabrini, Robert Taylor homes, etc?
I know there is extreme poverty as well as drugs, gangs, and murder. But in the Chicago projects, the gangs would shoot at each other with sniper rifles from the high rises, there were shootings just about everyday(sometimes as many as 100 per day). It seems NYC housing projects never became quit as bad as Chicago’s and i was wondering why this is
