CDC recently said the infection fatality rate of covid is 0.26 percent. Why are we still treating covid the same as we did in March/April?
In March and April, they thought the death rate was between 2 and 3 percent. So I fully understood the lockdown. But if we knew the death rate was 0.26 percent from the beginning, I doubt we would have even went into a lockdown. So why are we not correcting course and instead focusing on isolating higH risk people. And putting emphasis on keeping a strong immune system(vitamins, eating well, getting enough sleep, etc)
2 AnswersRespiratory Diseases9 months agoI used to enjoy facebook but now its 99 percent political. Any good facebook alternatives that are mostly free of politics?
I like what facebook used to be. Sharing vacation pics, pics of your kids, dogs, etc without anything political. If I want to see politics ill turn on a political news network.
2 AnswersFacebook10 months agoAnyway to order Ufc ppvs the traditional way? My grandpa doesnt know how to use apps(hes 84) but still wants to order UFC ppvs every month.?
It was hard enough to teach him to use his new cable remote lol. He certainly doesn’t want to have to learn a new app. He just wants to order it through cable, the same way he has for the past 10 years. His tv and blu-ray player are both about 10 years old anyway and are not capable of running apps

2 AnswersOther - Music2 years agoI want to rent out some houses. But im afraid to because of “squatters rights”. Can someone explain this to me? I live in Illinois?
If someone cant pay rent, shouldnt i be able to evict the(after allowing a month to find a new place)? And in cases where “squatters rights” are applied, are property taxes suspended until the squatters are gone? Because you cant prevent the owner from making money if you want him to pay the taxes.
6 AnswersLaw & Ethics2 years agoRecently in Philadelphia. Why is beer and wine/liquor sold at different shops? Anywhere else ive been, its sold in the same place.?
Also, in many states you dont need an actual ‘liquor store’ for beer or liquor. You can get it at a gas station, grocery store, etc.
4 AnswersBeer, Wine & Spirits2 years agoHow is NYC able to have so many high rise projects without developing the same issues that Chicago had in Cabrini, Robert Taylor homes, etc?
I know there is extreme poverty as well as drugs, gangs, and murder. But in the Chicago projects, the gangs would shoot at each other with sniper rifles from the high rises, there were shootings just about everyday(sometimes as many as 100 per day). It seems NYC housing projects never became quit as bad as Chicago’s and i was wondering why this is
