How do I find out how many points I have? How do I choose the category/subject of the questions I want to answer?

Look to the Left you should see a list of Category's click on the Category that your Interested in and on the Top there are Sub Category's for a Category if any Apply that your Interested in click on that

You can find out how many Points you have by visiting your Answers Profile click on your Username on the Top Left side of the Page on the Next page it will show you or you can on any Page where your Username is inside Questions and Answers you can move your mouse towards your Username and it will show you

Points - Click your username in the upper left of the screen or go here /activity/questions to see your points, level, questions, answers, etc.

The best way to select a category or categories of questions to answer is to click on categories for which you have experience or knowledge that might be helpful to others. Then you can scroll through the questions or focus on one or more subcategories that have questions you find interesting or that you can provide helpful answers to.

Subcategories I usually participate in are Yahoo Answers (this one), Running, Marriage & Divorce, and Diet & Fitness.

Click your avatar/name in the left column for your profile to see points.

Click a category in the left column to only see that category. Be sure to select the answer tab and not discover.
