New York State schools give free condoms to both boys and girls to avoid uwanted pregnancys. NYC Police, when they search a female, and find condoms, charge her with "postitution"....

The tax year, for most of us, ends on Dec 31st. And our tax recturns must be post marked on or before April 15th. That's three and a half months to raise the money you owe, and mail the forms.

But wait. Employers don't have to mail the W-2s or 1099s until the end of January. A lost month.

Three and a half months, less the month of January, cuz "they" screwed up.... We're supposed to have 3 1/2 months. Don't you think they should give us til May 15th? :)

I prefer the Green and White screen, with questions that go all the way across the screen. But sometimes they get presented in a Blue & White format with questions only in the middle of the screen, and categories on the left, and ads on the right.

How d I ensure that I get the Green & White format?

There is a book entitled, "Good Boss, Bad Boss", which I am going to give to my Boss. I figure a good Boss would read it cover-to-cover in hopes of becoming a better boss. daughter sick since Wed.(now Friday). vomiting, diarrhea, fever. Vomiting and Diarrhea stopped Thursday. Fever continued. E/R all day today...IV for dehydration, antibiotic for whatever. blood tests indicates all blood counts are normal levels; however some white blood cells are "band/banded", which called for more blood tests... any ideas on possible diagnosis? or what the band/banded means?

The current minimum age for buying tobacco products in NY is 18. NY City mayor is on a 'health binge'. First he changed he sale of 'sugar' drinks (soda, gator ade, et'al) to a maxium size limit. Now he's changing the age for buying tobacco, in NYC, from 18 to 21.

But realizing that 'minors' only have to drive to the 'next town or state' to buy tobacco, he has NY STATE law makers considering changing the age from18 to 21 throughout the State.

If the State makes the change, sould they just change it from 18 to 21 overnight? Or should it move to 19 this year, then 20 the following year, and 21 the third year? This way 18 y/o's who are now smoking may contine to smoke, if they wish to.

Average cost of a pack, out side NYC, is $10.58.
