How to cure homosexuality?

I ve been having feelings for other girls (especially anime due to social anxiety but I think l would be full gay if l m not so scared of people). But this is sin and I don t want to go to Hell. l talked to my mum about it but Atheism doesn t make me feel better? I d rather just commit homosexuality than both commit homosexuality AND denying God. But doing neither is preferred.

Update:

l very thank you all for support and Cogito does have a very strong point. I must've been made this way for a purpose because God is not wrong. :) You all are amazing

Satan knows and uses temptations that you are most susceptible to in order to separate you from the Love of God and fellowship of the Holy Spirit. Resist temptation and it will loose power. Pray for strength and that you are not led into temptation but delivered from the evil one.

There, unfortunately, is not a cure for homosexuality. Technically, God loves you no matter what you are anyway, so it doesn't make a different. I don't know who you are or anything so I'm just going to keep this neutral. Basically, for instance, I know I've commited a lot of sins, but I don't follow Christianity or any of the other religions like that so I don't actually view them as sins. If you don't believe in God, or if you believe you've decieved God, just confess to him. The only thing that will send you to hell is if you don't confess of your sins to him. If you do, he will know you recognize it.

    But this is sin

    - No it isn't, people made that up .

I don t want to go to Hell.

    - Don't worry about it. 10% of women are gay and 90% are bisexual, it is just the way it is.

but Atheism doesn t make me feel better?

    - SO? Stay religious, just don't be pathological about it.

    But doing neither is preferred.

    - You won't be "denying god" you will be denying old men in dresses 1000 years dead that made that up to control people.

"What's the difference between you and a prostitute?"

"Why do you paint your eyes when your lovers despise you?"

"Why degrade yourself by worshipping a created thing rather than the Creator of all things?"

As a former sex addict, I can't wag a boney finger at anyone. I KNOW how the need/want of sex keeps you looking for a clean attractive source.... keeps you thinking of ways to get it.... keeps making you dress and act a certain way to attract it.

God forbid you attract an ugly person by your behaviour. That would repulse you.

But all this running around to get some.... where has it led you? You have worn yourself out trying to get and keep your lovers until there is barely enough humanity left in you left to form a corpse.

Yet, our Heavenly Father loves you anyway.

He is even jealous for your love.

He wants to rescue you like a knight in shining armor... and take you to His palace.... wash you and forgive you and make you His own.

Never bringing to mind the things of the past.

He will forgive you... if you only admit to what you've done and give your heart to Him to heal.

Second chances are Jesus' first favorite kind of chance and His love is better than life itself.

Yes... God loves you just the way you are....

But He loves you too much to leave you that way.

No such thing as god, sin or hell. You were born gay so accept it.

You can't, as it's not a disease. It's normal and natural for a small percentage of the population to be gay. Don't let anyone make you feel bad about it.

You were born gay and nothing can ever change that.

If you believe that God is all-powerful and always right, it follows that he made you gay and he's happy about it.

He must have just been badly misquoted by the men who wrote the Bible.

If you believe in your heart that God exists, you can't be an atheist. Atheists don't just ignore God or 'deny' him - we genuinely believe that he doesn't exist at all.

Oh, sweetheart. Just be who you are and accept the consequences without apology or complaint. There's nothing to be afraid of or ashamed of.

Ever considered other spiritual paths than just strict Biblical literalist Christianity, or even Christianity PERIOD? There are SO many other options out there than just that vs. atheism! Ranging from other religions, with their own set dogma, to just ditching all of that and doing your OWN thing, spiritually speaking. And.. there are plenty of paths out there that are 100% compatible with homosexuality! Where you wouldn't be judged in the slightest! Plus speaking from my own perspective, and my own spiritual experiences..? There is absolutely nothing wrong with it, whatsoever! And you are infinitely loved, just the way you are. It's just humans having small, petty, judgmental god concepts! Which says a lot about them, but absolutely nothing about God/divinity, really. :)

Anyway, there is no "cure" for homosexuality. You can try to repress it and deny it, but it will always be there, regardless. And hating yourself for something you can't help will only make you miserable. Plus it hurts absolutely NO ONE! So.. maybe work on accepting yourself, and even loving yourself, instead? :)

The Bible only condemns men laying with other men. It doesn't say anything about women.
