Are the peerages bestowed by the Queen on drug lords like Pablo Escobar purely honorary or can they sit in the House of Lords?

Only those who are chosen by committee of peers can sit in the House of Lords. This criminal was not given any honor by the Queen. He is not British, or a Commonwealth Realm citizen, either. One has to be British to be eligible to sit in House of Lords.

The drug lords couldn't do much worse than the walking dead Lords.

Drug Lords would not seem out of place in the house of lords, Which seems to be populated,( in some part ) by thieves and perverts. Think the Queen should do more research before she gives these Lord type things away. Suggest more council workers would make the house more honest.
