Catholics, do you still think Cardinal Pell is not guilty after the jury in Australia judged him guilty of child sex abuse & God loves Pell?

They NEVER think. That is a big part of the problem.

And it's largely why Child Rape is still rampant in their foul cult churches.

Do you all remember The Right Rev. John Geoghan in Boston?

Cardinal Law and MANY people in his congregation came forward claiming his was a WITCH HUNT.

And on and on and on. All these people staking their reputations on him.

Turns out -- he had over 130 victims.

People TODAY still claim it was a setup.

This is what religious brainwashing does to people. They cannot connect to reality.

From what I have read, Pell is probably guilty... probably!

However, the reality is that the justice system requires that he be guilty "beyond reasonable doubt" and given the circumstances I think it impossible for any sane, unbiased mind to believe him guilty "beyond reasonable doubt"

The think is that there is so much anti-Catholic sentiment and hatred that those kinds of people are not willing to see "reasonable" and think he must be guilty simply by virtue of him being an accused Catholic priest. It's akin to a witch hunt.

If his conviction is completely squashed on appeal, then the haters will claim foul and rant about the unfairness of the justice system, yet they are the very ones claiming he must be guilty by their determination and without trial.

Many will deny any molestation was done by any priests...

Such is the level of FEAR programmed in to gullible believers.

Pell is innocent. The jury hated him. The whole thing is disgusting. There was no case there, it was pure hate

I was reading some comments on a news site earlier who seemed convinced he's been scapegoated by liberal witch hunters.

But other than that I don't see many rushing out to defend his name. I would imagine most Catholics are keeping their heads down to avoid getting yelled at by internet randoms. Most have enough sense to realise supporting someone going down for paedophilia can backlash in a big way.

I don't know but if there's evidence then he's prob guilty. I'm a marginal Catholic.

I'm sure they are convinced it's a satanic conspiracy or some crap.
