With enough power and influence almost anything can be achieved.

    His punishment hasn't finished yet.

The Church has a lot of power there to influence the courts.

Shazy, I saw your reply to one of my responses earlier.

I was a police officer, and later a sergeant, in my city when the Catholic Priest Rape/Abuse scandal hit.

My unit was assigned to investigate it, and all of us interviewed a LOT of victims and their families.

It was probably the worst criminal incident I witnessed in my whole career, and I still feel it is one of the most horrific events in our history. Reason being -- people knew, covered it up, allowed it to continue, And it still continues today even though we know about it now, globally. It is still happening!

Shazy, i want you to know how truly sorry I am to hear that you were affected by this. I hope this is something you've gotten help with and that, somehow, you are able to cope. Nobody should have ever had this happen to them. And yet, the number of victims is staggering.

And, here we have a perfect example of why this child rape problem continues.

Lying ASSHATS like Fake Shroud. More concerned about his FOUL CULT and its IMAGE....

  • Pell is innocent. The jury hated him. The whole thing is disgusting. There wasn't even a legitimate case against him, it was just pure hate

  • Because the USA likes to lock people up. It has the highest incarceration rate of any country in the world - but still likes to pretend it's part of the "free" world. Pell is appealing his conviction. In civilised countries, prisoners are released on bail pending appeal unless there are grounds for assuming they'll abscond.
