What is your day like as a teaching assistant at an elementary school?
I'm currently an afterschool art teacher. There are some openings at the school for Teaching Assistants during the day. I think I may want to apply.
What is your day like? What things are you required to do?
Are there periods of time where you're not doing much or not needed?
Are you especially tired at 3 pm?

I known many, many that are teachers assistants or work within the local school system. It seems what they do, is not consistent, it varies greatly on the teacher they are pared with. Some love it, some tolerated it while their kids were in school. I know four that stopped this year alone.
