What happens if I don't pay my Yahoo Pro Mail outstanding balance?

I recently received a bill for my subscription to Yahoo Mail Pro. Because the payment didn't go through at the time of the billing, I canceled Pro a day or two afterwards. However, the outstanding balance remains and the Pro subscription still lasts for one more year. If I don't pay the outstanding balance, does anything happen to my Yahoo Mail account (e.g. suspension or deletion)?

Update:

Yes, I know that once Pro is no longer active, the only real difference is that a few ads appear.

    You can try and contact Yahoo and say that you meant to cancel the subscription before the month ended, and would like to not have to pay for it.
