Why is the religion section the most hate filled section here?

I wouldn't say R&S is the MOST hate-filled section but it is in the top five, for sure. Politics is WAY more cut-throat.

However, you raise a valid point: It someone purports to be here representing Jesus but all they do is ridicule others or call others names or hate on other people, how could they possibly think they are representing Jesus in an admirable fashion?

There's just enough religion in the world to make men hate one another, but not enough to make them love.

There is love and hate, good and evil. It's been that way for thousands of years. Choose wisely.

I would say the Politics and Government is more hate filled. The level of bigotry and bull sheit over there is staggering.

If you think that, you haven't been to the categories of Other-Politics & Government, Royalty, or Gender Studies. The hate in those categories at least matches what you see in Religion & Spirituality.

In the Royalty category, it is a bit of a special case. Whereas hatred is generally aimed at anyone who favors any positive opinion of monarchy, the hatred is particularly aimed at and focused on one user over and over and over again with pointed and seething vitriol by the entire gang of frequenters of that category. It has been going on for years, and for the life of me I can't figure out how it hasn't been shut down because of how absolutely harassed and singled-out that one user gets in that category and the extraordinarily mean things said to him. I'm guessing they get away with it because they refer to him as "the queen's alleged nephew" rather than his actual user name, ManxRider, because he apparently claimed to be Queen Elizabeth's nephew at some point in the past, along with claiming to hold multiple degrees from Oxford and Cambridge, which other users en masse disbelieve and never cease to ridicule him for claiming, as well. Whether he brought it on himself or not, it is the most extreme and longest-lasting case of unchecked bullying that goes on on this site.
