Do Christians agree Gospel is Mercy Book and Torah is Justice Book?

Gospel of Jesus is much more merciful than Torah. It forgives you and takes it easy. I am Jew, but I love how you are FREE in Christian countries. I have no complain on limiting by G-d s Laws, but I hate when biased Laws exist which limit our freedom..

Thanks!

Update:

I know your freedom is not good for a Jew and a Jew doesn't belong there, anyways, it is better than OTHER THAN ISRAEL. AND I HOPE ISRAEL WILL BE MORE LAWFUL, too...

they differ in goals. Torah came ot clean Israel G-d's chosen tribe. Jesus came to bring mercy of G-d to all peoples...

Update 2:

@the chosen, I am not goyim..

    In one sense, possibly somewhat.

The OT is all about the physical man, and the NT is about the spiritual man.

After it had served its purpose in Gods plan of salvation for all mankind, God replaced the OLD Covenant of land and law with the NEW Covenant of Gods grace in and through Jesus Christ. That way he could save ALL his faithful souls whether Jew or Gentile.

6 But now Jesus, our High Priest, has been given a ministry that is far superior to the old priesthood, for he is the one who mediates for us a far better covenant with God, based on better promises.

7 If the first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no need for a second covenant to replace it. 8 But when God found fault with the people, he said:

“The day is coming, says the Lord,

when I will make a new covenant

with the people of Israel and Judah.

9 This covenant will not be like the one

    I made with their ancestors

when I took them by the hand

and led them out of the land of Egypt.

They did not remain faithful to my covenant,

so I turned my back on them, says the Lord.

10 But this is the new covenant I will make

with the people of Israel on that day,[c] says the Lord:

I will put my laws in their minds,

and I will write them on their hearts.

    I will be their God,

and they will be my people.

11 And they will not need to teach their neighbors,

nor will they need to teach their relatives,[d]

saying, ‘You should know the Lord.’

For everyone, from the least to the greatest,

    will know me already.

12 And I will forgive their wickedness,

and I will never again remember their sins.”[e]

13 When God speaks of a “new” covenant, it means he has made the first one obsolete. It is now out of date and will soon disappear.

Grace and mercy is indeed a much better deal for us than the old law, since nobody was ever able to perfectly keep the law, and if you broke any part of it, you broke it all. Hence, all the serious penalties.

No, I don't think so. Killing infidels "wherever you find them" doesn't strike me as "Justice." However, "those that attempt murder with a weapon must be killed with a weapon," does. Therefore, I feel that the New Testament is the Justice and Mercy Books, combined.

Sorry,,but you are 'TOTALLY' Confused,,,! about many points..and maybe thats why you said this mistakes,,so allow me to correct this for you for the sake of God..

number 1,,the words Gospel..'Injeel' dont mean Mercy book,,,it mean the 'good News' as it give a good tiding about the seal of the prophets who will be sent to all of 'mankind' and who was the prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

number 2 ..when you read Jesus (pbuh) words..you will find that he NEVER SAID he is Mercy for all people..infact his words is totally different,,as he said and confirmed that he was sent 'ONLY' to the nation of Israel..and he was the Messiah..the Christ..but not the seal of the prophets who is mentioned in many parts in Torah and Gospels..and this dont mean he was not a Great prophet..ofcourse he was..but he just said the truth and explained why God sent him and for whom..so we cannot blame him for saying the truth indeed.! but unfortunately,,many people hate this truth,,and try to make Jesus what they want,,and what they 'wish' as they grew up hearing all this wrong info about him..while no need for this as the Bible is very clear about this !!

by the way,,your user name is Islamic name,,and you say you are a Jewish..so are you a Muslim but just joking about this..! no offense..just wondering !
