Is this manufacturer issue?

I bought a new book, and when I opened it up, all the pages were upside down.

    Yes, but I've seen books that were intentionally printed upside down as part of an eclectic design

    Turn the book upside down. Then the print will be right side up.

    That's like a blem or blooper. It somehow got past the printers quality control. Just return it for an exchange if you don't want to put up with it!
