Won’t happen unless a foreign power like Russia or China takes over which means the end of both parties.

If a powerful Third Party that adamantly and diametrically opposes both current parties were to arise, it is entirely possible for the Democrats and Republicans to merge in order to preserve the status quo.

Sure, in like 200+ years. By then though we would already be colonizing outerspace and we would have a UNE type government.
