It is not sin. God is always ready to answer. He never contacts anyone directly. For everything he creates the spirits. These spirits can possess a right person and give right answer through him.

Absolutely not! 1 John 4:3 says "do not believe every inspired statement, but test the inspired statement to see whether they originate with God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world." In other words, it's saying "don't believe everything you hear, but test it to see if it's really coming from God." People teach a lot of lies about God. So he wants you to test what you've heard against what is in the Bible.

John 17:17 says "Your word is truth." So if something is not in the God's Word, it is not from him, and he wants you to figure that out. He wants you to be someone who questions things and looks for the truth.
