Yes, a True Christian would be against gay marriage, but if it is the law of land, then you would be against it because of what the Bible says. Nothing you can do against the law.
Does the Bible Comment on Same-Sex Marriages?
Our Creator established rules governing marriage long before governments began regulating the institution.
The opening book of the Bible tells us: A man will leave his father and his mother and he must stick to his wife and they must become one flesh. Genesis 2:24
The Hebrew word wife, according to Vine’s Expository Dictionary of Biblical Words, connotes one who is a female human being.
Jesus confirmed that those yoked together in marriage should be male and female. Matthew 19:4
Thus, God intended marriage to be a permanent, intimate bond between a man and a woman. Men and women are designed to complement each other so they may be capable of satisfying each other’s emotional and sexual needs and of providing children.

There is religious marriage and civil marriage. No one can force any religion to perform a same sex civil marriage.

Sure... if you're a particular breed of cherry-picking christer...
IF you're another particular breed of cherry-picking christer it isn't.
See... all christers don't believe the same things.
There is no united christer world-view.
Many of you WASPs don't believe the same things as most Catholics but there are PRE-Vatican 2 Catholics who don't believe the same POST-Vatican 2 Catholics.
As for you WASPs, your beliefs are splintered into hundreds of sects...

Jesus said absolutely nothing about homosexuals or homosexuality so how can it be against Christianity? Christ did have a lot to say about hypocrisy and intolerance, they are very much against Christianity, but it seems the majority of "Christians" have no problem with either.

No. it means you personally can restrict yourself however you want, but you shouldn't force that restriction on all vias law, including non Christians.

Gay marriage is indeed a sin according to Christianity but it is legal in the USA now. If you are against Gay marriage, then simply don't get one. There's no need to harass anyone, or call names or scream or foam at the mouth because people live lifestyles we don't agree with. That isn't Christlike.

Yet, Jesus saves those who put their trust in him.
If a Christian says that God doesn't save LGBTs, they are preaching an antichrist message.
